TOYOHASHI INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2023
This year's festival is waiting for you at emCAMPUS and Toyohashi City Machinaka Hiroba with newly powered up stage events where you can enjoy world music and dance,
The Hokoten (pedestrian mall) area connects the Suijo buildings,
"Face Painting"and "SDGs Sports" using participatory Moluccas, balloon art made by clowns, and more.

World Stage
A saxophone performance opened the stage, followed by Filipino, Brazilian, American, Hawaiian, Venezuelan, and the finale, a beautiful Ukrainian folk dance.
World Gourmet
A large selection of world cuisines from Brazil, Peru, Ukraine, Philippines, Germany, Paraguay, Taiwan, Korea, Turkey, Italy, and more.
You can also enjoy "world cuisine" lunch boxes specially prepared by the chef of emCAMPUS Food,
handmade soba noodles by Imahashi Sobauchi Society, and original sweets from Toyohashi Commercial High School.
Fair Trade, Bazaar
You can shop for a variety of accessories, clothing, and sundries from Ukraine, Brazil, the Philippines, and many other international countries.
Higashi Mikawa SDGs Exchange Event [SDGs Sport]
This is an arranged Molkky competition based on the traditional Finland's sport "Molkky".
Teams from Toyokawa, Shinshiro, Tahara, Gamagori, Toyohashi, Toyohashi University of Technology,
Aichi University, and Toyohashi University of Creation will compete against each other.
In the afternoon, general participation will be accepted, so let's enjoy outdoor sports together.
Workshop "Tea Ceremony"
With the cooperation of Soroptimist International of Toyohashi, you can enjoy Matcha green tea and Japanese sweets.
Foreigners and Japanese are all welcome.
Shrimp Scooping & Crab Fishing
You may have played goldfish scooping before, but shrimp and crab fishing is rare.
Is it difficult to catch them? Sakuragaoka Gakuen's older brothers and sisters will gently teach you the tricks.

The 25th Japanese Language Speech Contest
10:15 - Elementary/Junior High School Students Section, High School Students and General Section Contestants of elementary school age and above,
whose native language is not Japanese, will give speeches in Japanese about what they are feeling on their daily lives.
The venue is the Central Step of the Machinaka Library.
Screening the Videos of International Organizations
Panels introducing international exchange groups active in Toyohashi will be displayed and videos will be shown.
Escola Students' Art Exhibition
This year's theme was "Disasters and How to Prevent Them". Students from Brazilian schools in Toyohashi (Cantinho Gakuen and EAS Toyohashi) expressed their thoughts in vivid paintings.
Balloon art and face painting by clowns (They are also in the HOKOTEN area)
A brightly colored balloon arch is the entrance. Inside, a large number of clowns welcome you.
Balloons shaped like flowers, dogs, cats, and cartoon characters will be given to children.
Brazilian artists will do a wonderful face painting on your face. There will also be portrait artists!
