Japanese Language Volunteer

At Toyohashi International Association, We hold "Nihongokyoshitsu” so you can have a chance to improve your Japanese language skills and can be safe and secure in the area by having a place where foreigners can regularly interact with Japanese people.

In "Nihongokyoshitsu", through the Japanese learning, it aims to interact with foreign residents, to proceed with the regional development of multicultural coexistence. If you want to be friends with foreigners and you want to talk, why not work together?

We recruit volunteers at any time!

Activity contents

This is a Japanese language class managed by our Japanese language teaching volunteer.

Since the teaching of Japanese language class is in Japanese, we are not asking for foreign language ability.
※Please refrain if the purpose of your application is to benefit with foreign language exchange.

In addition to teaching Japanese, volunteers conduct general classroom management activities such as meetings and social gatherings.

Contents Using "Easy Japanese"
We will train you how to speak using the theme of the day.

Target Person

If you are a high school student who lives in Toyohashi City or nearby cities and towns, anyone who agrees to the following.

  • Those who can do activities once a week and can continue working for about 3 months or more.
  • Those who are interested in teaching Japanese and understanding different cultures.
  • Those who want to support foreigners in the area, those who are willing to work on activities.

Others

In order to participate in the activities, you need to register as a volunteer after visiting the classroom on the desired day of the week (either Saturday or Sunday).

There is no reward or payment for transportation.

Activity Support Assistance

  • We hold meetings (Japanese Language Section) to provide and share information on an irregular basis.
  • Volunteers will discuss the teaching of Japanese, other problems, and plan a better classroom management.
  • For active volunteers, you can take our "Japanese Volunteer Training Course" sponsored by our association for free.
  • To help volunteers work at ease, we have joined the “Volunteer Activity Insurance” of Aichi Social Welfare Council.
